This book is full of no-nonsense guidance to getting on track with the truth of who we are. Each day's read is short and concise, and yet full of essential points to ponder. This devotional simply, yet thoroughly, invites us to examine detours which may have caused us to stray from seeing ourselves as the image bearers we are, and refocus. This is taking me longer than 40 days to get through. It's so packed with relevant reminders to steer my heart and mind toward the truth of my value, and help align my mind and heart with that truth. It's an exciting journey filled with hope, and I highly recommend it. The book does come with space to write, but I am planning to buy the journal as well since I will probably do this study again with friends in the future. It's just that good!
